1. Who we are

2. Data we collect

• Contact data you send us voluntarily: name, email address, telephone number and the content of your message.
• Programme participation data: attendance records for workshops and clinics, and the organisation or school through which you registered.
• Volunteer and membership data: contact details and areas of skill, where you have applied to join or volunteer.
• Technical data: standard server log information generated when you visit this website, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested.

We do not require you to create an account to use this website, and we do not sell personal data under any circumstances.

3. Why we process data and on what basis

• To answer enquiries and organise training — on the basis of your consent or your request.
• To keep attendance and activity records — to meet our legal and reporting obligations as a registered non-profit entity in Georgia.
• To operate and secure this website — on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a functioning, safe service.

4. Devices and technical assistance

At tech clinics our volunteers may assist with your device. They do so only with your explicit permission, in your presence, and only for the task you have asked for. We do not copy, retain or record the contents of your device, your accounts or your messages. When we prepare donated devices for reuse, all previous data is securely erased before handover.

5. Photographs at events

We sometimes photograph public events for reporting purposes. We ask for permission before taking identifiable photographs of participants, and we will remove any image at your request.

6. Sharing

We share personal data only where necessary: with service providers who host this website or deliver our email, under confidentiality obligations; with partner institutions where you have asked us to arrange something on your behalf; and with public authorities where Georgian law requires it. We do not share data for marketing purposes.

7. Retention

Enquiry correspondence is kept for up to two years. Attendance and activity records are kept for the period required by Georgian legislation applicable to non-profit legal entities, and are then deleted or anonymised. Server logs are kept for a short technical period only.

8. Your rights

You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction of processing, and withdrawal of consent at any time. Requests can be sent to info@MontiaRestoration.com and are answered within the period set by applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia.

9. Security

We apply reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect personal data, including restricted access, encrypted transmission of this website, and a requirement that volunteers handle participant information confidentially.

10. Children

Where our workshops involve participants under the age of 16, we work through their school or guardian and we do not collect personal data from children directly without the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

11. Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Any cookies present are strictly necessary for the site to function.

12. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our activities or the law. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
